Can anyone suggest a way to enhance the faded printing on a tank sheet? Mine looks like barely visible heiroglyphics--can't make out any letters at all.

scan it in to your computer and use photoshop or something like it to raise the contrast and try other enhancements.

Before you try to remove it, take a high resolution digital picture of it. In fact, I would take several.
That way you can get the full picture, in case the sheet rips after you try to remove it.

i agree. take many digital pictures of it in differnt light sources and at different distances ...light bulb..floresent...out of doors in direct sunlight and in indoor normal light. you can't take enough pictures... with flash and without. out of about 50 photos i took of mine o only used about 4 of them. i loaded these into corel photoshop and changed the contrast and intenisity and contrast untill i got it readable. if you don't have any good graphic programs you can email it to me and i'll see what i can do with it.

i had a state trooper buddy of mine who does the stuff like they do on csi and they said mine was un-repairable. they said they weather and the only way to see them is to burn them so it is framed on the wall and thats where it will stay for now. there isn't much luck for them. But you can always reproduce one.
