Is there any Vendor out there that sells insulation blankets in black for a 1977?
I don't like the light green that is presently on the car, which has been for about 2 months!!!
Thanks
Larry

Zip Products also has a 36x24 molded replacement, part #ZIP-M-2465 for $89.00

By the way, even though it costs more, I'd probably go with the Molded Replacement instead of the flat replacements.

Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.
I need to get a new underhood blanket for my 79. Before I bought it, the previous owner had a mouse get under the hood, and the mouse decided to make a nest in the air cleaner with the hood blanket. The little rascal almost ruined the blanket. he had a pretty good nest built, too!! I'm glad the guy found it before the mouse ruined all of the wiring... Those little devils can make a mess out of things...

Hey Everyone!
So what's the best type of insulation to get? The PO of my car had no insulation and the heat was causing bubbles in the paint on the hood... yeesh, need to get some insulation before I get the paintjob done.
Thanks

What about for a 1980? It seems they did not come as standard or an option that year.
