Terry (my7T1) and his wife, Patti, caught up to me in Auburn, In. We were having a nice ride until we got about 10 miles from the Ky border when Terry lost a wheel barring. We made it to the next exit but the front spindal is broke. He and Patti are at a motel until a shop can fix it. They said he should be on the road by 2:00 tomorrow.
Good luck Terry, hope to see you tomorrow.

Thanks for the post up Brian. We we're up and runnin by 3:00 on Fri. and arrived in Bowling Green at 5:00. We had a great time once we got there, and are home now safe. We are very Blessed to be alive after breaking a spline at 80 MPH. Also, If anyone ever needs mechanical work around the Louisville area, talk to Paul's Alignment in Clarksville, IN. He's a great guy and does good work. Terry

Hey, it was only 78mph. I was leading the charge until I looked in my rear view mirror and seen Terry shifting lanes. How he managed to drive another 4-5 miles without loosing the wheel is amazing. Redwingvette2006-10-16 08:13:58

It's a damn Vette foe Pete's sake. It'll do 100 on three wheels.

Not much seeing how my wife wasn't with me. I bought a couple lapel pins and a diecast car to add to my collection (GM L-88 Test car). http://www.cardomain.com/ride/565523/2
