I'm going to be trailering my 71bb around the country this year and thought that I could use some help compiling a list of items needed. Things like safety flares, or reflectors, extra tie down straps etc. Got any ideas? Thanks Kevin

Kevin, take a look at THIS THREAD on basically the same subject. It may give you some of the info you are looking for.

You need T-Shirts for the 2007 Gathering in Carson City LOL Can't think anything specific except a good spare for the trailer.

If you don't already have one, get  yourself a lightweight aluminum floor jack. They are priceless when you are beside the highway in the middle of the night. They are small and easy to store.

Brand new spare! But that does remind me to check the pressure!

Funny I just bought a floor jack from Sam's Club(not aluminum) but it will go in the trailer!

Lat time the wheel bearings were packed and the brakes were checked on the trailer?

Trailer's less than one year old, should be good on the brakes and such. Very good advise, I will check them. Thanks Kevin

If you have never hauled a trailer around I would suggest taking the trailer (empty) on short trips to get used to judging your turns and clearances, remember the trailer is wider than your tow vehicle.
Remember when the trailer is loaded your stopping distance is greatly reduced!
