Vette(s): 1975 L-48, 4 speed, side pipes, currantly and continually under repair.
Build Date: June 16, 1975
I went to a car show in Reading, Pa. and found this 74 custom Vette. It took 7 years to build and it is one of the nicest I ever seen. I thought LakotsaRose would appreciate this.

I have to agree with Imran. Doesn't matter what it looks or sounds like, from a faithful restoration to "Corvette Summer", if it suits the owner, then that is all that is necessary.

When I first saw this Vette I thought to myself , Who would do this to a perfectly good Corvette. As it turned out it wasn't a " Perfectly Good" Corvette. It was a basket case when the owner purchased it years ago. The owner is about 70 years old and did the entire car by hinself. all the mechanics, all the suspension work, the interior, and the metal flaked paint, not to mention all the fiberglass,which I might add is FLAWLESS. Yes I admit at first glance it takes you by surprise. but when you start to look past all the overdone chrome and glitter you start to relize how much work went onto this and by a man who is undoubtly is a craftsman in customization. This is truly the epitamy of what Customizing is all about. It reminds me of an era where Customs were the rage. George Barris and Ed "BIG DADDY" Roth

I still would like to know how he got that LS-6 in there.

Lol, makes me think of the guy who showed up tonight in a '63 Split Window....Pink front half green back, no hood, engine filled the engine bay and stood, 18" or more out the top, had tires at least 2' wide(more I think) in the back and little tiny 3" wide tires in the front, tiny steering wheel, four BIG vertical fins on the spoiler that just kinda stuck out from the back about a foot!! Insanity. he said he didn't race it. not sure if i believe him. Still wondering what all THREE shifters were for...ah, who the hell knows...
