Hey guys,

We're completing the install of the chrome booster, and we're gonn start on putting the front end together. However we have stopped because I don;t have any torque settings for any nuts. I would appreciate it so much if anyone can post the torque settigns for the brake booster, and front end control arms, springs, shocks, spindles, ect... My year is 1977.

Thanks guys,

-Louis

there are alot of bolts that have to be torqued and alot that don,t have to be, I suggust that you get a manual, you'll be better off in the long run, try to score a GM manual.

Hey Joe,

The booster nuts don't really have to be torqued. I realized they have that nylon locking mechnisim. However, I do have a haynes shop manual, and the origianl GM 1977 Corvette assembly manual. Neither have torque settings on than the engine, any other ideas?

Thanks,

-Lou

Lou,

This link will take you to an artical on rebuilding the front end. It does list some of the torque values your looking for.

Lou, the GM "Service" manual should have the Torque #'s, not the assy. manual.

How about the Chilton`s shop manual for your year.

It has all the specs needed
