hi i took my 79 l82 to the track tonight and i suprised my self i ran a 14.399 at 98.36. Its a 4 speed with not many mods just roller tip rockers, true duals, recurved ign., and a k&n filter. Also theres not smog pump and the car came w/o ac so that helps too. my reaction time sucked though it was 1.036 and my 60' was 2.220. It was my first time at the track though so i have alittle more learning to do.

Anything that does 14.3 is very respectable. As for the reaction times, pratice is fun. Sound like a good day

That's a heck of a goal Ben. 14 is respectable. 12 is awsome! My old Nissan Sentra with 250,000 did 11......minutes.
