Vette(s): Sold my Vette, living life in a tiny town with dirt roads, deer, peace and quiet. Living the life I dreamed of.
Ok, ok, i am fully expecting to get harrassed about this. We all know that our Vettes are "Ticket Targets", and being a truck driver for a living, i carefully gaurd my driving record, so tease away. But, serious I am keeping my '74 as a daily driver, but it is presenting me with one problem. The local speed limit is 70, and its a very very light touch and short time between 70 and 85 (ticket trouble). Just a short distraction and its over.
What i am looking for: is there any way that i can not limit my Revs (still want lower gear fun), but can limit my upper speed to say 75? a warning light, beep or something that can help? |headscratch| thanks!

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!
Just install a rev limiter, but also install a bypass with a relay and toggle switch to turn it on, or bypass the limiter. Switch it on when you are crusing.
On the "Tail of the Dragon"
(some day, no strike that, October 2008 it turned red, still in progress!)
