Vette(s): 79 Coupe, Robin Egg Blue, Driven spring thru fall. Sweet car.
It got up in the 60's here today in Connecticut. Vettes were out in force all over the place. Out of 11 I saw, 7 were C-3's, 3 were C-4's and one C-5. Looks like every one had been waiting for that sunny day. I had mine out for about 5 hours. Seemed like a lot of nice stuff was coming out of those garages. Saw 2 nice yellow ones that looked freshly done. I left the tops off and there was just enough vacum there to pull the heat thru even with it off to keep it nice inside with the windows up. Ton of Harleys out too. Have a place just down the street called the Bac-door. Nice biker bar and there were I'd guess close to 100 machines there. Ever notice that they give ya the high sign also on a nice vette. Fact the last 2 vettes I sold were to the Harley guys. They know a good American car also. Later all Swampy |wave|

Vette(s): 1976 L48 RoadDemon carb, Weiand intake, 3:36 gears, DUALS.
The past few days have been absolutely gorgeous here in western Pa. |biggrin| Saw a huge amount of bikes. Only saw 2 C3 s, 3 C4s, and 4 C5s. I think most folks still have their vettes in storage, like me. Suppose to get some snow tonite and tomorrow... |sad|

Thats how is been here JK....mild all winter, and little snow. Fact no salt or sand on the roads. That being the case I had Elsie out today for excersize.....
Ran Perrrrrrrrfect. Hated to bring it back to the roost but the sun went down and the tops were off. Funny how the sweet sound of that car and the way it handles makes ya teenager again, at least for a short time. Even the kids of todays generation know a cool car when they see one. Bunch of them gave me the thumbs up as I drove by. Who knows maybe someday they will be driving it. later Swampy
