Just wanted to give everyone an update.
My 1977 Red Corvette aka "Demon" is finally road worthy again after a long and I mean very long 12 month journey. We did a complete on body resto/mod.
I plan to take him up to Milford, Michigan (Baker's) tomorrow afternoon to the big car event that occurs there every Sunday afternoon during the summer.
The only thing left to do is put in his AC condenser and refill him with R-12. But with fall coming at least I can drive him without AC for the time being. In fact the last few nights I had to turn his vent to warm because it was a little chilly inside.
We really insulated him well and I can tell you it has been such a pleasure driving him without burning up inside from all the heat that he used to pass right into the interior.
Without all the great help from the C3VR Forum we could not have done it.
THANK YOU!
Anni

Now you need to drive the H3LL out of it and enjoy it.

Our future plans with the "Demon" are to just enjoy him for the next couple of months while it's still warm.
I just want to brake in the new engine rebuild and then next year truly enjoy him all summer long.
Corvette's get into your blood and once they bite you your hooked! Many times we just wanted to walk away (I lost many night s of sleep) but you just can't ... it's like a sickness
that in the end makes you feel very good.

We have a town called Hell Michigan and this fall the Demon will have to make a visit!

Annie, that is great news, I remember some of those not so fun post's.
But that's behind you and hubby now.
Enjoy the rest of the season and just think of all the xmas presents you will be buying him for next year.
Please post some pictures of that bad boy.

I also have a little demon in me......good luck.
