slow raising headlights

On my 81 one head lamp rises in 5 seconds and the other takes up to 45 seconds. Any suggestions other than ignore it

Check your vacuum lines from the regulators (mounted to the underside of the nose of the car) to the actuators. You can swap the hoses on the regulators and see it the delay changes headlight buckets. If so replace the regulator, if not it is the actuator. You can rebuild these for cheap. Let me know if you have questions.

Bairs did a great tech seminar on this for us during our gathering stop. Make sure you give them a call.
