Joel, you mean that since we're the C3 registry we are bogus and don't exist? I think the designation is cool because it shows the progression. But that's just me.
yep... heered ya bro... Ah kinda thought you might be refer'n ta this ride but whut makes ya think this GM Hybrid Stingray Concept Vette is a Z06?
Why everbuddy be pickin on me?Ouch
Whut eye sed wuz.
After the Stingray name wuz dropped in late '77, Corvette has just been Corvette...NOT Corvette Sting Ray('63-7) or Corvette Stingray('69-77)....
When the Z06 came out, it was a different body type, and even tho it was basically an RPO code, it became the "Z06". You also had the ZR1, which, again, is the RPO code..,
Youse guys is killin me heah!

Also, I said the C1-2-3 name is bogus in IMHO....these were terms that only came into being AFTER the C5 was introduced. For the '68-'82 cars, my preference is to call them SHARKS, or Stingrays...not C3s.
It has nothing to do with the C3 Registry or anything else. A Corvette by any other name is still a Corvette....Hug

Vette(s): 1980 L-48 still in the middle of a frame-off.
Asprin is asprin and Motrin is Ibuprofen and a Corvette is a Corvette jes like Joel says so there.

Corvettes and women are the same...You want to make love to them but they keep breaking down.

Oh I agree Dennis... Ackshullly I am Off Topic cause the debockle I wuz haven wit Uncle Jed hasn't mooch bearin on da topic of Sharks.

Stingrays (68-82) and Sharks are 1 in the same body style and only the lack there of the scripted name define the difference. Tuxblacray2011-03-06 10:56:41
