Keep at it and in no time you'll have a showpiece! Just don't get discouraged when you hit the speed bumps! The great thing about C3 Vettes is that there's nothing on the road like 'em! Even when you see one covered up on the side of the road, you KNOW its a Vette! The other thing is almost any part you need, you can find (as long as you have $$$$$$). Good luck!
