I had an antique car restorer tell me that they spray the raw metel parts with hair spray. It is just like laquar paint and keeps the part in it's natural finish. I don't know if you have to recoat it every so often or not, but he said it was the hot trick.

Condensation will form on all cold surfaces, some you can reach with your sprays and such, but many others are not accessible. This is the time of year when condensation is probably at it's worse. The only real way to prevent it is heated storage. Keep ALL surfaces at a temperature above the dewpoint of the air.
