Mikes78, wish I knew you were there when I was there! New toy almost a twin to yours. Got the Pace Car spoilers. Never liked them but I do now. Wonder why. Spent today cleaning and fixing "Bubbaisms". Alarm was first to go, at least none of the original wiring was tore up. Aftermarket radio installation seemed OK. Is Blaupunkt(?) any good? Put in by original owner before 83. Took the power window switch apart and sanded the contacts, works fine. Put the NOS antenna I've been holding for 2 years in. Dropped the exhaust from the converter back to do the antenna and for general cleanup. Need to replace a muffler, tail pipe slides in and out of the muffler. Wondered why it kind of sounded like a "ricer" when stopped. I've got a correct pair of dated 79 mufflers from my black Vette that I will use. Found something scary. Of 4 bolts holding the rear spring on, one was missing and another was loose! Took out the loose one and threaded it into where the missing one was to make sure the threads were OK. Car must of been built on a Monday. By the end of the week I hope to change the trans filter and fluid, oil, and rear lube as long as it's so easily accessible right now. But I gotta go back to work tomorrow. Will be taking it to Bloomington for sure. Bought this baby to drive! Can I email someone pics to post? I can't figure that stuff out.   Mike mkapp787938489.9070601852

Thanks Jim, will have some pics for posting Saturday. I still got it up in the air detailing underneath. Changed some fluids. Found the build sheet, in decent condition. Looking for a spring bolt. Sandblasted and will paint some odds and ends. Then drivin' time.  Mike
