I haven't started any wholesale restoring yet so my library just has the basics in it so far:
- Assembly Instruction Manual (AIM)
- Chilton's and Haynes Repair Manuals
- Corvette Parts Interchange Manual, 1968-1982
Over time though I plan to add several of the books seen in the BUY NOW! column on the right side of most the pages here on the site:
- How to Restore and Modify Your Corvette, 1968-82
- Corvette Restoration Guide 1968-1982
- Original Corvette: The Restorer's Guide 1968-1982
- GM Service Manual
I'm sure any one of the members in the NCRS realm would have several good suggestions also.

Brian,
Is there pretty good info in those two books? They're on my list of "to gets" so would be interested in what you think of them.
Thanks!

"How to Restore" has a lot of good info. "Original" is good reading but not much on how to do things. You want get the AIM's manual.

Hi! It probably wouldn't hurt to take many pictures while dismantling!

Also identify all parts that you remove. Its suprising how much you forget when its time to reassemble them.
