Well it looks like the long wait is finally over. I've been told that she'll be
done at the end of the week.

Well I was hoping that we'd be there too, but the alternator seized so it has
to be replaced & the battery is dead. The car is still at the body shop. They
are telling me that we will have her either today or Tuesday.
I'm worried about a couple things, first the engine isn't broken in & the oil
hasn't been changed in 1.5 years. I hope she'll make it home without the
engine seizing. When she's home should I change the oil & replace it with
Mobil 1?

Well the long wait is over. We brought Sassi home on 6/10/06. A friend of
ours came down with his truck & trailer & we ferried her back to the
house.
She got her long overdue oil change & of course some other stuff needs
attention.
Here's the laundry list then I'll post links to the new pics.
The headlights are still stuck in the up position. We'll have to chase down
the vacuum gremlin. The horn doesn't work. The left wiper regulator
needs to be replaced. Right now the blade flies off the windshield. The
turn signals don't work. The new AC doesn't work. The driver's side
window regulator needs to be replaced along with the switch.
As of today I don't know if we're still going to be coming to the gathering
in TN.

I'll have to try out then.
Tomorrow we start fixing the electrical
spaghetti that got shoved back up under the dash when the body shop
completed its job.

Well she finally is done & is happily driving on the road. At least she was today anyhow. I have a link to new pics of her audio system but the forum won't acknowledge the link. You'll have to copy/paste it into your URL window on your browser.

Very cool Chris! I'm envious

Unfortunately my stereo upgrade will have to wait another year. (Unless I win the lottery
)

The L-88 hood and nitrous upgrade took preference this year.
