Welder-

Ever need to remove a broken bolt or stud?

Some of them are really stubborn.

This video shows puddling a broken stud with a broken ez-out, welding a nut with 309 stainless wire, and then...

Success.

Thanks Larry, but what kind of welder was that a Tig ? Only an experienced welder would have a rig like that. Well, at least I haven't progressed far enough in welding to add gas to my Mig system, or a foot pedal wire feed ( $ ). But I appreciate the link to the site. I'm sure I'll learn a few things.

Jimmy, you are right that it's a tig welder. Tigs use argon gas to purify the weld. Tigs are actually easy to use, rod in one hand and torch in the other. When I first got mine I used only braizing goggles for my eyes, no gloves short sleeve shirt. I spent quite an amount of time with welding. The next day my whole face was burned, lips were a mess. My arms were also burned. I figured I'm not stick welding.............boy what a mistake. Now I where a hood and thin leather gloves (thinner than ones used for stick welding.
