Here's a Corvette-related article I wrote for my website featuring Car & Driver magazine columnist Brock Yates. A word of caution though---if you are offended by profane language or conservative political philosophies---please don't read it. Reminder---the Tripod server does not allow linking to Tripod pages from non-Tripod pages---so you'll have to type the URL into your browser window to access the article. The URL is:

Enjoy!

I enjoyed reading it, found it interesting since I do a little writing for the club. I've always believed in buying American. My cousin just bought a new Audi, and I reemed her for it since this country is at war, especially that.

California---you're either up extremely early, or haven't gone to sleep yet.

Hey there fellow insomniac! Haven't gone to bed yet. I should though. I need to be up at 6 to pack and get the heck outta here before noon! The freeways here are awful all the time, then worse on holiday's. |yawn| What about you?

I'm just an early riser. I generally get to work pretty early, around 8:00 am NY time.

Aren't you up about 4 hours too early to be at work at 8 or are you just slow at getting ready? |smile| I'm going to bed now, nice talking with you and I'll try to watch for your answer in the morning.

I'm usually up early because I go to sleep so early.....and I do suffer some insomnia. Not as much as years ago, but it's still there. I'm a light sleeper. Are you commuting to work, or on a extended weekend?

I do some computer work at home these days while trying to find a regular job which isn't easy for a female who would like to work in the auto world. lol I was just up late doing some club stuff and cruising this forum. lol Take care and have a nice long weekend!
