Vette(s): 1980 L-48 still in the middle of a frame-off.

I am in the process of doing a frame off rebuild of my 1980 L-48.

Here are some photos showing its progress. I let the car sit for approximately 10 years or so and finaly decided to get it going.  The frame has been media blasted and then coated with Por-15. I am installing all new suspension by Vansteel including new offset trailing arms, super performance plus suspension with coilovers, new poly bushings and steering parts, all stainless fuel and brake lines, and new ss calipers. The car is located in 2 shops, 1 for the body and 1 for the mechanicals.  I will keep you posted as it comes along.  DB

Yup I take a lot of tylenol too.

It wasn't sitting, it was resting. When you get it done she will be ready for anything. Great job so far.
