Well I spent tonight removing the radio from my 74 Corvette. It only took about 45 minutes to remove radio and right side speaker. I will be sending it out to have the digital upgrade done along with new speakers for the front dash. Because of the odd size I am going to go with a new original Delco which the vender (S&M Electro-Tech) says will have about 25 watts each. For the rear speakers that I need to add I was considering the Ported Sound Bar that Corvette Central offers.  I am not looking for something really loud as much as I want good clarity.  Total cost in this project will end up somewhere around $600 with shipping. Hope I made good decisions with this upgrade!
Thanks for everyones help.

Rodney

Let us all know how it turns out when completed. New options are always welcome when working on our cars.
