Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
I have found a carb on E-bay. I have a 72 and the correct carb no# is 7042203. The one I found is no# 7043203. Is the year, the 4th digit the only difference in these carbs? THANKS Mark Also, What is a decent price for a re-buildable unit. manchestershark 2010-03-19 07:28:42

When I go to swap meets, I buy every Q-jet that is $20.00 or less. And I get a bunch of them. On the other hand, one with the number you are looking for is worth whatever you are willing to pay. We found one for a customer that went for $750.00 for a rebuildable core. I wouldn't mind paying $50.00 to $100.00 for one I wanted.
