I took a slightly longer route (US 12, White Pass over the Cascades, between Yakima and Chehalis, WA) on the way home from my trip earlier in the week. The mountain the in the BG is Mt. Rainier.

Nice shot.
Looks like a great day to travel back.
We spend about a week in the Seattle area a few years ago. Drove up to the visitor center on Mt Rainer. Beautiful area.

Truly a great picture! We lived 12 years in Utah, but have been in SC since 1989. When we were first here, people would ask us how we liked it, and we said we missed the west...we missed the mountains. They would reply that we have mountains here to which I would politely reply that no offense, you have some beautiful hills. But after living here for 23 years, these are now mountians too.
thanks for sharing

Nice picture Dave. Vette looks great. Glad you solved your ignition problem before the trip home. What size of TA's do you have on her? Thinking of replacing mine next spring as they're over 10 years old.

Thanks, guys! And thanks for the calendar suggestion. I'd be honored if that happened, let me know if there's anything I need to do.
Case75: the T/A's are 235/60's. Mine are over 10 years old ('bout 11), too, but only about 6K miles. I think I'll be replacing them next spring, especially if I make the trek to CO Springs. I'm pretty sure I'll go with the BFG's again - I've been pretty happy with them for the 11 years I've owned the car.
