Decided it was time to let one of the '78's go. The Silver Ann being my 1st Vette is my baby. It's my cruiser and my jump in and go grab a coffee on a nice morning car so that one stays. The Pace Car with the nice paint job and low miles would end up just going to cruise nights and maybe 1-2 shows a year. Plus you have to wash black almost every time you take it out.

When an out of state prospective buyer hired an independent 3rd party to come inspect the car and I realized he was a really serious prospective buyer I started to have second thoughts about letting her go but no turning back at that point.
Elaine & I met a wonderful couple from North Carolina that came up to Maine for the weekend and will be taking the Pace Car home with them. He is extremely knowledgeable about the '78's and is thrilled to have the the car. It's not like selling a used car, it's like letting go of a part of your life cause of what you put into them and how much you enjoy them. We made new friends and I feel really good about the new home the Pace Car is going to. A deal don't get much better than that.

Jeff & Elaine, Thank you again for being so hospitable to Sharon & I during our visit. We had a wonderful time in Maine and you made this buy experience delightful. Rest assured the Pace Car in is good hands and will be well cared for. By selling it to me, you fulfilled a dream. It was our pleasure to meet such outstanding people like yourselves and anytime you can make it down this way; our door is always open for you. May GOD Bless and keep you both. It’s our honor to be able to call the both of you “FRIENDS”. Jeff & Sharon

Thank you, Jeff. It was a good experience. Glad you had a couple of days to stay in the area and that you made it back to NC with the car and yourselves all in one piece. I will be getting the pictures from Sunday to you. Enjoy that Pace Car.
Jeff
