Vette(s): 1978 INDY PACE CAR #3016 of #6502 built. Has original Pace car decals still in GM boxes the way it was delivered to GM dealers. per NCRS "UPDATE" Decals applied as of 3/8/02 (ALL ORIGINAL)
does anyone have any idea where i could find the oem tires for a 1978 pace car.

My Corvette Black Book shows the '78 Pace Car was optioned with RPO QBS, which were "White Letter SBR (steel belted radial) Tires, Ps55/60R15". I did a little internet search and found what I believe to be the tires you are looking for. Click on the link below and look about half way down the page that reads:

You might try Coker Tire in Chattanooga, TN (my hometown :) ) They specialize in producing 'vintage tires'. My father had a set of their Wide Ovals on his '72 Z28.
