A removeable window was available on the 72 and earlier but I don't know how far back.  It was not an option for the 73 and 74 but will fit if you can find all if the hardware.  Don't know if one will fit in a 75, 76 and 77.  It may.  It is a nice option especially if your a/c does not work well.

The window was factory installed from '68-72. All of the bracketry was left intact(on the body), tho, I beleive up to '77. You just need the glass w/surround, and the latches. If someone has a '68-72 assembly manual, it will show all of the peices needed, and give the original part #.

Joel, Do you know if OEM parts are still available? Or, if the is an aftermarket install kit for the window. I think I would like to put one in my 76 if I can "Get er done" .

Larry, I doubt that you will find any of the parts(brackets, etc.) to install the window anywhere but a salvage yard. I'm sure the glass is available, but the other stuff will require a treasure hunt! You might check out some of the 'Vette "salvage" places, such as J.D.'s Corvette, or maybe even Paragon Vintage. Happy hunting! I'll check & see what I can come up with, tho.

Pipers has a bone yard, but they can be a bit pricey. I've had some luck with this guy harley1066@aol.com he has some donor vettes. I just can't remember the name of his business, I found him in Hemmings.

Thanks Guys! I sent an e-mail to Just Covettes. We'll see what happens from there.
