Great looking vette!
I agree that the best feeling is driving it home for the first time. But just wait, it's also great taking it out every time, whether its just a cruise, or you've just fixed something to get the car running again.

We finally got some great weather this weekend. Did a little yard work and had to keep garage door closed so I wouldn't keep stopping and just staring.
The wife and I went out to eat last night, a fancy place-no way! First time in the new vintage ride had to be to the burger wagon. It was great, and cheap too.
At least in the evening, if I lose my hat I won't get fried on top.
No Vettes, but I got a wave from I think a 39 Chev.

Vette(s): 1980 Red T-Top with 42000 miles. No modifications and will probably stay that way.
Congrats on seeing a dream come true!! I know the feeling of ownership of a person's first Vette and it is great. A great bunch of guys and gals here that will help you if you ever need advice. Going to put the insurance on mine this week and cruise this Saturday/Sunday if it doesn't rain or snow!! Take care and be safe. . . .
