NYC Vettes?

Hey group. I'm new to the C3 Registry. I live in New York City, and own a '72 coupe I bought in '99. My story's probably not that unique, but here it is in a nutshell. In 1966 at the age of nineteen, I bought a '64 365/327 4 speed Vette convertible for $3,200, that I spent six years saving for since the age of 13. In '68 I sold her for the money for my first Harley-Davidson. For over 30 years, I only rode Harleys and didn't own a car. Then in '99, I had that Vette itch again---and found my '72 beauty---"Mary". She has a later model small block (with center bolt valve covers, origin unknown), and Turbohydramatic 400. So now my two beloved machines are my '71 stroker Harley "Mabel", and my Vette. Any C3s or older Vettes in NYC?

Hey to Ghenghis Welcome aboard

My first Vette was a 66 327-350 HP 4 Speed 2 tops Bought in 68 for around $3000 sold in 1974 just as the 75's were coming out to Buy First House. The last few years I have wanted another Vette but there there was no way I could afford another 66 in nice condition so last year I bought a 75 (As that was what was new when I sold my 66)
