Thanks for the encouragement, guys!  I'm going to post more pics soon of the engine bay and front suspension.

Quick question, are you able to put the bell housing on afrter the engine is un?
Or is it still attached to the tranny on the car?

Joseph, from advice I got on this site I decided to separate the motor from the bell housing during removal.  Bell housing and tranny stayed, engine came out.  Bell housing and tranny came out afterward.  For install, I know tranny will be last but I'm not sure I'll be able to attach the bell to the engine before since I haven't taken the radiator out.  (It's not that old and didn't see the need to remove).

I personally prefer to install the engines withOUT the bellhousing attached. Gives you much more room to maneuver the engine in without bashing the wiper motor...or the widershield...or the raditater.
The bellhousings WILL go in after the engine with no real problems. You might find a couple of the bolts are a little hard to get to, but a swivel socket will fix that problem. I would also recommend leaving the distributor cap off until the install is complete. Even better is to leave the distributor out, but...taking the cap off will keep it from getting damaged. Thumbs Up
