My vettes are males and I only have a name for one of them... 'boulevard bruiser' is his formal name but I usually call him 'my pavement pounder puppy'.

Bringing back an old thread from 2004, However as I went through it I find most that replied to this thread are now listed as former members!
Anyway I've decided on a name for the 72, Its going to be "Jesse". The wife says to me why Jesse. I tell her the car is like Jesse James, Its robbed me of thousands of Dollars. And I didnt mind at all! So Jesse it is!
Whats your name and why?
Rodney

Vette(s): 1975 Stingray Nomad Wagon, with Daytona front, custom hood scoop, dual side vents; 420HP 350; Doug Nash 5 speed; 1980 rear end W/4:11 gears; Cherry Red metallic paint.
My red baby is still named Cherry Love, but we meet a young lady whose diverse personality so fit my yellow one that we renamed her "Jazzy" after her. She is temperamental, stubborn, unpredictable, with expensive tastes, but a load of fun no matter where you are.

Wow...this IS an oldie...don't know how I missed it the first go-round. I think there may be another similar thread, as I know I have responded to one somewhere...
Name's "Adams' Apple", cause, as we all know, All Corvettes are RED, and apples are red....and my last name is Adams...it's a play on werds stemming from one of my first race cars, a '58 MGA w/small block Chebby and a Corvette diff set up. I called it Adams' Apple, and every red car I've had since has had that moniker. So there....

Well, I called the 74 "Chet" for CHevy vETe and call the 05 "Rusty" because the Daytona Sunset Orange looks kind of a rusty color (not that a Vette would rust).

Shortly after we bought our 77 it became the great pumpkin and it still has that. But my wife and I sometimes refer to it as simply " Orange". Our 03 anniversary is also called "Red".
