When people get a little too excited by it, I am known to say, "IT'S JUST A USED CAR."

Hi, Gary.
I'm thinkin' wring her out like your head's on fire and your a _ _ is catchin'. The car, that is.
Remember, cars are like women . . . both respond to touch. You should be gentle with both, but you can only punch one. The wise man knows which is which.
Here endeth the lesson.

John

I think money pit is a common refrain or name. Mine is getting close to earning the "Money Pit".

The wife nicknamed her "Black Goddess", I like to call her "Carl Lewis" because she quit running.

I call it the "Money Pit", I am the original owner and the car sat in the back of the garage for many years...
Put her back together in 2001... after 3 years.... well
the "Money Pit" lives up to it's name.
It is a 77 Vette!

Vette(s): 1969 convertible L71 427/435 4-speed black interior
I have a '67 Dodge Charger I refer to as the "Money Pit", but have better names for my Vettes. My '78 Silver Anniversary I call the "Silver Bullet" and my '69 roadster 427/435 I have two nicknames for..."Stumpy" as it could pull tree stumps with its 4.11 rear, and the "Mongoose" since a Mongoose kills Cobras.
