NVMY76 said: Hey - Nice Vet. I just got a 76 on Sept. 15th! I am getting ready to have the interior totally done. I want to have sidepipes added like in your pic, but I don't wanna get burnt. Do you think it's a good idea to get them? Did you use a 74 exhaust system? |bouncy|

When you say "get burnt" you mean on your legs getting out? Well, it is a hazard - particularly in the summer in shorts or for women. You have to remember to step away from the pipes. I've had my share of oval-shaped burn marks. |eek| After once or twice you'll remember. The hard part is remember to tell your passenger. They don't think it's "just part of having sidepipes."

As for the exhaust, this is a full set from Hooker. It's the headers, side pipes, and flow through mufflers inside each pipe (included in set at purchase).

There's no original exhaust system included. Oh, and it's chrome from end to end.

Vette(s): 1976 Brown with Buckskin Interior. I bought her on 9/15/03 and just received it on OCT 1st 2003!! It needs interior work, and some things under the hood, but I am so excited! Just waiting for Summer of 2004 to totally show it off.
Tags can be so much fun, I am going to the MVA next wed to apply for some my-self. I will wait to tell you what they are since we share the same year vet! |laugh|
