Now when you finally get a minute alone....with out the Vette.
Tell us the full story it has to be a great one for sure.
Where did it come from? What port was it shipped from? How long did it take to come over to you? How does customs work? What was your first reaction? Was it uncovered when you first layed eyes on it?
Man your killing me! I want to know!

Ok I'll start:
What is a M21? I'm just not up on the 70s terms. I hope you got a sweeter deal than the first
one. Paperwork and the like.....
All the best from Tucson.

The color looks great, silvers always faded or chalked over because of the heat they draw from sunlight. This one looks super, but may be a repaint?
I have had a few in my days and still love the color. (Off Topic) Had a pro bass boat in silver metal flake that my competitors could not see on the water because it reflected its surroundings and blended right in, except when I was doing 70mph across the water then not so much!

G'day ebo - nice to hear from you! Was wondering how long it would take to see you pop up!
You're not going to believe this story...as you know, I was originally looking for a chrome bumper big block. As time and finances went on I really started to like the 74 models - know idea why - the just grew on me. I Wanted the high performance L82 and the M21 was perfect also..
Anyhow I looked high and low through the states, coming up with some good ones but not great. I really wanted a good "honest" car. Didnt care about paint etc - but matching numbers and originality was a must. Anyhow literally a week ago I was on my local Australian car website keeping an eye out and low and behold... this one came up in my state about 100miles away from me!!!!! I bought it that day. Amazing huh? This guy bought it from Texas about 7 years ago and shipped it here. He needed the cash for his house and I drove it home last wednesday.
After all that pain - who would have thought the perfect AMERICAN muscle car for me would pop up 90min drive away from down down Melbourne, Australia.
The car has had a repaint (originally a yellow car) but other than that its totally original great condition. I'm very happy. I drove it around town for a bit today and you would NOT BELIEVE the looks I get - these cars are a rare site on our roads!
Actually I do have a question - I want to replace the air cleaner and possibly carbi for something that gives better performance (Ill keep the originals in a safe place) does anyone have any recommendations?? Also any other simple Ideas for extra horses would be great (don't need a engine rebuild) so anything minor i would be open to suggestions!
Ill post this question under the engine section also
Cheers
Waz

Very nice Vette, and to find it so close to home. I got mine from 2500 miles away. Took forever to get it shipped here.
