Vette(s): White '79 Corvette. It's a driver.
Man Oh Man! That's just Criminal!
I hate to think of a Corvette being left out in the snow like that.

Just imagine how happy that car would make an appreciating owner, even if it had a ways to go before it was roadworthy.

There is a blue '76 near me that just sits there deteriorating. The nut who owns it thinks its worth some big $$$. So it just sits there.
Disapprove

No interest.....hmmn, took a 2nd picture of it now in the snow..... Passion sometimes overrides logic.... My bet is that if a sign went up you would have to stop..... I would..... parts car or driver either way it would be better than watching such a slow and painful death!!!

Actually this is the third pic I've posted of itBig%20smile. It's more of an anoyance than anything else, seeing it every day for almost three years now. And yeah, if it came up for sale I'd probably check it out, but I doubt if I'd pay very much for it.
They have a 2 car and a 3 car garage. Both drive panel vans that don't fit in the garages. Why does this need to sit outside!!??Cry
If the people were at all sociable I would have even offered to store it for them, free.

I think the guy is just a goober...don't think I'd be interested in it now, either. Maybe the garage houses the meth lab...

There was a wrecked '80-'81 sittin here in town for years...ever since I've lived here. It wasn't hit that hard, from what I could see driving by, but it was pretty rough.
Mama & Micki stopped to look at it one day....next day, it was gone! I guess seeing Micki lookin at it scared the guy into moving it! She said it was in really bad shape, tho...

Perhaps you could talk Micki into comin up there, Mike! At least, then you wouldn't have to look at it sittin there rotting anymore!Adams' Apple2008-01-03 20:51:05

That's his 401k retirement. I like Joels idea, maybe it's his getaway car for when the meth lab blows up...Rolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20Laughing

I always seem to have a knack for picking up unwanted items. About the time I reserve to myself that I don't really need the item it becomes available. Points in case:
The Blacray went 3 months before the fellow called me back and asked if I would still be interested in buying the car. I replied sure for a lessor price. It's mine now....

I had vowed not to buy chrome wheels for the C5 but I found a deal less than an hour from home for chrome Z06 wheels, caps, centers, lug nuts, and new Verstein tires for $800.00.
They now reside on the car.

Look at it this way Mike..... Maybe it's Zora's way of testing our inner strength..... (Passion).....

At least that's what I've told my wife.....

Vette(s): Gone, but not forgotten: 1974 Coupe Red, matching numbers, Black Interior, L-48 w/ 4 speed; The “Admiral”, also gone and never to be forgotten. 1994 Admiral Blue LT-1 coupe, Black Interior Automatic

Ya' never say never....I don't drive my car if there is rain in the forecast...well almost never. Wink  All of us would probably jump at the deal if the price was right...LOL... My wife is in real estate and she says buyers will buy on emotion and then try to justify it with logic. Seems to me that is what we are dealing with here. However...THE OWNER SHOULD BE DRAWN AND QUARTERED AND HIS LEVER FED TO THE CROWS! Evil%20Smile  The poor car deserves a better fate...Cry

I know of 2 similar C3's in the Klamath Falls OR area.  Just siting out in the weather! Haven't been moved in years.  Send me a pm for more info.  Both are 78 or newer.
