Alright vette guru's, I’m looking to trade my truck in for a 2003 C5, It's millennium yellow coupe with 7k miles on it. Super clean…..

It has 50th anniversary badges front and rear and on the instrument cluster, A buddy of mine states if it were a real 50th car the seats would be embroidered with the logo, and thinks all were red in color.

Did Chevy do something with the special yellow paint option ? I cant believe someone would go thru the trouble of replacing the gauge cluster just for a ½ inch logo.

Vette(s): 69 Conv #'s match 427, TKO-600/.64, 3.36HD-Posi, HT, T/T, PS, PB, PW, SP, Leather, Comp XE264HR & Roller Rockers & Lifters, Air-Gap RPM intake, Holley St Av 770 VS, MSD 6AL+Dist+Blaster SS, K&N, Jet-Hot Hooker Side-Pipes, Steeroids, Al Rad, Spal Fans
according to the corvette black book..

the anniversary package had red paint, champagne colored aluminum wheels, front fender badges, shale interior, they all had the 1SB preffered equipment package and all had F55 magnetic ride control.

the shale interior was a light grey-beige for seatsa and carpeting and darker grey-beige for trim there were logos on the headrests and floor mats and leather covered door handles and armrests.

the anniversary shale dash is the only c5 dash that isnt black.

okay.. ALL 2003 corvettes had 50 anniversary logos on front and rear regardless of whether they are "anniversary edition" or not. and speedo/tach logo on all coupe and vert (not on z06 though)

so while the car is a 50th anniversary vette as all 2003's were.. it is not an anniversary edition vette

how is that for quick??

Thanks Ben, I could have gone to bed much earlier last night had I stayed in this forum a little longer....

I did find the info out....not as fast as you did though.

I did notice also that not all 03's have the 50th badging on them, my early research points to cars with the 1SB package, not certin yet thou...

I bought the 2003 coupe today, super clean millennium yellow, 1SB package, dual roofs, polished wheels, perf axle and the Z51 handling package with 7022 on the odometer.

I'll post some pics on my site tomorrow, after Texas beats OU !!

The same thing happened with 78s they are all 25th aniversary year cars ,but only the 2 tone silver ones are the silver anniversary editions, all 78s have the silver anniversary emblems on the hood, trunk, and the horn button but only the special ones are considered to be Silver anniversary editions |thumb|
