[/QUOTE] You can laminate it to preserve it. If you don't have a laminator, you can take it to someplace like Office Max. I'm glad that you are having fun, making your Vette better then original. All of this takes time, patience, attention to detail, and buckets of cash. Also included is blood and some bad language...........take care...............

It's supposed to match. 
The build sheet should list all the options installed on the car and usually indicates original interior and exterior color. It does not list prices. You need a copy of the dealer invoice or window sticker for that.

Speaking of the blood .... my husband this past weekend took 17 stitches to the face while trying to saw of part of the exhaust system. So I hope that's all the blood that we have to pay! 
Thank goodness he is OK.
Except for this accident it has been a lot of fun and your also right about the buckets of cash .... we have already spent more then what we paid for the car! It's so addictive ....
but it will be worth it.

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

There are multiple schools of thought on this. I have heard that some kinds of lamination don't preserve the document well. Not that my method is any better - currently, mine is just sitting in an envelope with my other documents. I think I am going to contact a photo restoration place nearby to ask their opinion on the best method of preservation.
I had a high resolution scan of mine done at a Kinkos, then had them print out a quality copy. It looks better than the sheet itself!! That's what I use at shows.
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Glad you liked it...I see your car is a low mileage. I started a study of the spring clamps by model year and curious what kind of condition yours are in?
In particular, look at the cannister?
PCV hose to carb port
canister hose to carb port
fuel lines where they connect to fuel pump
What do you find?
