afterreplacing the hoses can you feel or hear if the vacumm pumps are working? Ours mke a hissing sound when the doors go up. It could be the pumps

There is a pamphlet available from most parts catalogs that explains, in detail, how the vacuum headlight door system works and how to touble-shoot for problems. It costs about $12 but is well worth the investment.

I moved your thread over here in hopes you could get more help being your problem is related to the mechanical/vacuum parts of the headlights system, it would appear in your case I would agree you need to check out the headlight actuators and vacuum relays
