Vette(s): 1975 Stingray - Silver with T-Tops
I just bought my first vette - 1975 L48. The car has been sitting for a while. The head lights come on but the doors to not come up. I have replaced many of the vacuum hoses that were dry rotted, which needed to be done but the doors still to not come up. Anything else I should be looking at ???? |bouncy|

You need to check the actuators and the actuator relay.

There is a pamphlet available from most parts catalogs that explains, in detail, how the vacuum headlight door system works and how to touble-shoot for problems. It costs about $12 but is well worth the investment.

Gandalf,
I moved your thread over here in hopes you could get more help being your problem is related to the mechanical/vacuum parts of the headlights system, it would appear in your case I would agree you need to check out the headlight actuators and vacuum relays
