I have bought plenty of things off of eBay, and I sell as well. I have never been screwed this bad. I contacted eBay, and they said taht they won't intervine because I got was he said it was. empty. I tried to explain that it was damaged but they said no. So, I am stuck with this thing. If I sent it back to him, I'm not goignt o get my money back, I can gurantee that. So I got 2 options here, I can sell it again to someone on eBay. Or I can use 100 acetone diluted with water to try and take the ink off without damaging the paper. Then print my actual car's information o it usigna typywriter.

Louis, I hate to hear you've been ripped. It happens a lot in the car hobby though, even at swap meets, you just need to be very careful when you buy. Don't be discouraged, we're all following your progress, the car is looking great! We're proud of you.
I heard of a vendor at a swap meet that put a sticky price tag right over a crack on a glass t-top. The buyer took the tag off before he left the meet and went right back to the vendor, it almost got bloody!

eBay will take take care of him....having bought my 82 about 8 months ago, you got me wondering if I got a warranty card....GUESS WHAT...not only do I have one, but the "Date of Delivery" is my birthday (month, day...not the year - I'm older than 82)......honest, no kidding....talk about destiny
