I was over in France (Istres) a few times during my service with the Air Force. Beautiful coutryside with a very old interesting history. If only I could have loaded my vette on the plane and been able to cruise the country. That would have made the ultimate trip. Chrysler minivans (diesel powered/5 spd.) did the job though.
My favorite place was Marsaille. I was like a party town at night there. Ah, the good old days.

Well, I do, but not with the Vette. At 9 to 12 mpg and $6.20 a gallon, I better not drive too far away from home!
