Hi all,

I've been tinkering, repairing, replacing items lately and watching a few You Tube videos. Have any of you made and posted any of your repair videos on You Tube?? That would be pretty cool!! If so, maybe there could be a Forum of Repair Videos here on this site or a link to view it on You Tube or even a list of member videos here to search on You Tube. I'm not a computer guru so I don't know how or if it is possible to do it. What do you think??

Hope to hear some feed back. Maybe we could hear from some of our new members on this idea too.

Thanks,

Kenny78

Nope. I just search for what I want and watch it if there is something available.

Thanks for the feedback. I thought if we did have any members that did make a repair video it could be posted here. Sort of a C3 Registry members bonus.

Vette(s): 1978 L48 Auto. Red with Oyster Leather interior. Owned since 1990.

I was going to make a video of my Power Steering Control Valve rebuild - I filmed it in fact.  But when I watched it back and saw the way my hands "shook" and how many times I'd fitted and re-fitted various parts I decided it wasn't a good idea!

Thankfully, the actual end result of the build (which in the end only took a few hours) was a lot more successful than the video attempt!😄

Vette(s): 2004 Commemorative Edition Coupe, Auto w/HUD. 13K miles in 2015. Sold 1982 Red Coupe

If you haven't deleted the video, try editing it. I use Clipchamp, the free version. Easy to use.

I agree, You Tube is a great resource for repair. Kenny78's suggestion of a video repair catalog for us C3's owners is a great idea.
