Vette(s): Just finished 2 years of Blood, Sweat, & Tears restoring my 69 Coupe. Crimsom Red, 427, vacuum removed, Shot of Steeroids, Killer Lights, 5 Speed, still working on small things but she is back on the road.

Well, After 6 - 7 weeks of glassing, sanding, crying, spending hours breathing through a resperator and questioning what have I got myself into, I actually think it was worth it.  I put some pictures up on my site with a few details of what I am doing and where we are.  I have a friend helping me out and he really has been great to work with on it.  If you want to take a look and let me know what you think, please do.  I have a long way to go but man do I feel better.  I hope I never have to spend that much time sanding anything again.

Man, that looks like a lot of sanding. Goin to be nice when your done. I have seen a pic of a C3 (late model with a big rear window) with a C2 coupe rear window and deck. That's what I'd like to do to mine, but I don't know if I have your determination. Keep at it.

I can relate to the work involved.  Althought I have not done my C3 yet.  There have been others, but I admit, nothing that nice.

Thanks for the words of encouragement and compliments.  I never dreamed it was going to be this much work.  It definately makes you appreciate it after it is done.  I'm just glad I had someone helping me out and providing advise as I tackled this project.  I left the painting to Bob.  He must have rejected my work at least a 100 times before it passed his eye.

Ron, not saying I won't help you sand yours it just maybe a while before I can enjoy sooooooo much fun again.  My fun meter is maxed for sure.  Bob will do the final sanding and primer before he gets ready to paint it.  I'll update you when he gets the first coat of paint on it.  I'm turning it over to the master until its time to put it back together.
