If my low mile Pace Car was my only Vette then I wouldn't have it. I'd have one I felt OK driving. As it is now my wife figures if anything ever happened to me, she'd use the Pace Car as her DAILY DRIVER.

My '69 has slight over 49k miles and my '78 reads 69k, but due to a speedometer replacement is actually about 20k less.

I bought it with 43000 5 years ago, now it has 125,000 and alot of stories.

Vette(s): "86", "89", and finally an "81" Red/Tan. I call her "Sweet Pea".
Hmmmm...my poor Ol' Vette has 156,000 on th' clock (well...56,000 on th' oddee and I know it's been around at least once). But she still starts whenever I hit the key.

My 78 original family owner has 81k and now that it is through safety inspection it will see more miles even though it needs paint and seat covers.
I respect the guys with corvettes with low miles -- especially the ones that bought others to drive.
