I love post like this. Spending other peoples money is fun. LOL

I agree!!!!!!!!! but the most fun in these cars is the azz grabing hitting of a 35MPH hair pin turn at 65MPH, then lookin in the mirror at another fello shark showing two thumbs up!
Have fun driving it for a while before you tear it down....project cars always take the back seat to every day life situations.................. just sayin..............

I just realized that I purchase my 76 in 1988, to restore! Drove it for some years with poor paint until it was too bad to be seen in. LOL So, here it is 2014 and I am going to BG event for it's 1st new outing. It will always need some minor details, so be it! I had some org. papers and found the 1st owner. He had posts on FB about the vette, so knew it would be fun to contact him. He said that it was his 1st and only Vette, thanked me for restoring it and wants to be kept in the loop with posting about the car.

Ron, I understand completely.  I bought mine in 2000 with the purpose of bringing it back to nice driver status and reselling once I finished a 67 Camaro restoration.  Drove it for two summers and only about 500-600 miles and then she sat in various stages of restore for 12 more yrs.  Finally putting miles on her this year after deciding to keep it and fix it the way we wanted.
