It's sort of sad..........all the toys getting put away, but on the other hand it's time to upgrade, repair, restore our GEMS. I seem to only find the time to work on my vette is during the winter.......Thumbs%20Up

Beautiful day in Southern Indiana.  Ten members of the Columbus Corvette club participated in the Ethnic parade in Columbus.  Two C2s, two C3s that were obviously the best looking of the group (not that I'm biased or anything like that),  five C5s and one C6.

Off to a local show tomorrow at Johnson Co fairgrounds.  The season is winding down.  My running mates include a '32 Highboy,  a '55 Chevy and a '57 Chevy.

Take care and hope you all enjoyed the day and that you will do the same tomorrow.

Actually, it's been nice all week. Passed a c3 on the way home from work yesterday and we waved at each other. Kathy

I drove to Effingham in the Blacray and hooked up with CJ5 Nutz. We went over to Mid America's Swapfest, had lunch, and I checked out his new camper & the campground.

It was a nice day in the sun and a good work out for the blacray. (6 hours worth of drive time).

I think I will clean him back up and slide over to Gary's show at the Johnson Co Fairgrounds.Tuxblacray2008-10-12 05:38:43

Tux,  probably good that you didn't make the Johnson Co show.  It was a first time show put on by a frat from Franklin College.  Good bunch of young men, but came up alittle short on show prep, publicity and signs.  Unfortunately,  there were only seven cars there. '69 Camaro,  '55 Chevy, '32 Highboy, Slick S10, '68 Impala, '04 Mustang and our '78PC.
