Vette(s): 1975 L-48, 4 speed, side pipes, currantly and continually under repair.
Build Date: June 16, 1975
This looks like a good setup but do they make a lift that that would raise a car from the sides so you can remove all the wheels for brake maintenence. I would think a system that will lift from the sides would be much more of an all around maintenence tool then just rolling up on a ramp and lifting the car about 24 inches. just my 2 cents.

Good point Joe. With Steve's C5, he doesn't have to worry about brakes or anything for quite a while, on the other hand, we do. I don't know how you'd "build" side accessable ramps and still get the car in the air. I'm no engineer either!

I guess those ramps will work just fine if you add a set of small hydrolic jacks between the ramp and frame to lift a wheel at a time or whole front or back to do the brakes

I downloaded the instructions a while ago and am planning on building them. Especially because my wife won't let me get a Kwiklift
I will probably have to wait until the end of cruising season though

Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.
Hey Chris,
Thanks for getting that pic on the page. I still haven't mastered how to get the picture on the page.
