Vette(s): 1972 Steel Cities Gray T Top. Original Owner, Original Paint and Interior. The running gear has been rebuilt. only 250,000 miles on the clock..
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement cable for the "auto trans to column lock" ? |headscratch|

you should be able to get a trasmission interlock cable at any of the major corvete parts houses

corvette central has it for 54.95

Same thing happened to me..Turned out it was key cylinder.

If you havent gotten the key out yet , you might want to look under the power brake booster. On my 76 there is a lever there that you can pull to release the key. Hope this helps

Thanks to all of you. I was able to get the lever in Park and the key out of the ignition. I will get a new cable. That's the ticket! |thumb|

I was able to get a good cable. Replaced it. Now I'm movin' down the road again. |cheers|
