Don't rush the guys that fix it. Body work on a vette has to have time to dry or you will have gost shadows show up a year later. Be sure that you get a long gurantee on the work or go to someone else. Fiberglass will shrink continuly after repairing it and it can be done properly but too many Shops rush the job out just to get paid and they don't care about what happens down the road. Look for a RESTORTATION shop. I ran a Vette Bodyshop back in the '70's through '87.

Thanks for the good information. I have checked this shop out and have had nothing but good comments about him. I feel comfortable with him working on my car.
Just settled with the ins co. things are working out well. very happy.

Glad you have a happy ending story to your insurance appraisal,you have to feel relived. keep contact with the repair shop to let them know what you want. hope all goes well for the repair. this site is great for help and advice.
