jacking up 71 vette.

I plan to jack my car up using a floor jack and then set it on jack stands.  Where should I put the jack and then where do the stands need to go?  I know improperly jacking up the car could cause body twist and damage.

I put the front jack stands in the lower A-Arm pockets & the rear stands under the lower strut rods where they were bolted to the rear spindles.
 
I had my car up on jackstands for that way for a year & it was rock solid.
 
When the A-Arms were off I put the stands under the frame where it turned inward, just behing the front wheel wells.  I was not as comfortable with that but it held, even when wh had to kick the front springs into position.
