hello new to the forum. my son and i are looking for a 68 corvette my dad and my uncle raced in the late 60's and early 70's. the car was owned by my uncle dave walter. it was used in hillclimbs, autocross, and road racing. the last we saw it was in 2011-13 range. it had been restored to look like it did when it was raced. it was red coupe with a white stripe that split and covered the rear bumper. any help locating the car would greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

There has been a BUNCH of threads over the years of folks looking for "lost" cars. Many, MANY years ago the searching was much easier but the advent of privacy laws over time has made the searching a lot more difficult. Pieces of info that will help in your search is having the VIN (vehicle identification number), a copy of a title, a vehicle registration document, a purchase agreement, etc. Paint schemes/colors/graphics can change over time so what you remember the car looked like back in the day may not be what it looks like today.
You're starting in the right direction tho' - by asking for help. Someone somewhere has knowledge of it. You just never know who will answer and have some recollection of car.
